SoulStrong Wellness

Brandi Wright-Dohopolski, DAcHM, LA.c

As a youth, Dr. Brandi was a dreamer and began studying herbal remedies, the The Barefoot Doctor's Manual, and various energetic healing techniques at age 16. Having had unique health issues as a child with many hospital stays and watching family members struggle with mental health issues gave her a sense of "We can do better in a natural way." At that young age, she did not realize those situations were priming her mind for bigger things.

Dr. Brandi has been helping people since 2001 when she started a career assisting persons with disabilities as a Community Support Staff.  During her 13 years as a Support Staff, she went to college and became the first in her family to graduate. She received and AS in Biology, and transferred her BS units to a Masters Program in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

At Dongguk University in Los Angeles, she completed her Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and her Licensure.  Education is something she can never have enough of, so, while she was in graduate school, she became NCSF certified and became an athletic trainer. During graduate school she also completed training for Certification as a Massage Therapist through Hands on Healing in Sunland. There, she focused her studies on Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial Manipulation.

As an Acupuncturist working in a Primary Care capacity, in a rural area, she wanted to make sure she could assist people with the highest level of care. So, after 18 years of schooling, and 7 years of clinical experience, she completed her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.

SoulStrong Wellness is not just her lifelong dream, it is also a creative outlet for her to explore the great adventure that is alternative medicine. Helping people have a greater quality of life, through healing, brings her great fulfilment and a sense of "being led" by a force greater than herself. Healing is a gift that all people should come to understand in this human experience. Wellness should be a part of each persons lifestyle and it necessarily needs to be shared between specialists. To that end, SoulStrong Wellness is now expanding to an additional unit and joining forces with other practitioners. SoulStrong Wellness is a community co-op of healing, learning, and teaching.

The challenges Dr. Brandi faced as a once single mother, a woman, and an entrepreneur, were tests of character that shaped her into a compassionate and genuine healer. She is a mother of 2, a wife, a martial artist, and an amateur rancher/homesteader and equine enthusiast.  Grounding and centering on the ranchette fills her with joy and refuels her soul so she may be present with each of her patients. Though she may not know an answer or an outcome for a treatment plan, she is dedicated to pursuing medicine that works. Often, that means she has to research, ask questions, or refer to another's expertise. She is intuitive, relentless and enthusiastic about finding solutions. If you want to feel better, and enjoy a friendly, compassionate ally in your healing, Brandi Wright-Dohopolski, DAcHM, LA.c at SoulStrong Wellness is a good place to start!

Dr. Alida Callahan, ND, DAc
Naturopathic Doctor | Women’s Health | Mental Health | Whole-Body Wellness

Dr. Alida Callahan began her education at Northern Arizona University, earning a Bachelor of Science in both Fitness Wellness and Psychology. It was there she noticed a pattern: when studying the body, mental health was mentioned only in passing—and vice versa. The deep relationship between mind and body was acknowledged, but rarely explored. This curiosity led her to seek a more integrative approach to health—one that honored the whole person. That search led her to Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr. Callahan went on to earn her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Tempe, Arizona, where she developed a strong foundation in natural therapeutics and a particular passion for women’s health, hydrotherapy, Western herbal medicine, and mental health. She also completed a year-long intensive in Nature Cure, a traditional system of healing that emphasizes the body’s innate capacity for restoration and balance.

Inspired by the holistic philosophy of East Asian medicine, Dr. Callahan continued her studies at the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, where she earned both her Master’s and Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Philosophy. While she is not currently licensed to practice acupuncture in California, this extensive training shapes her whole-person perspective and allows her to work seamlessly alongside Dr. Brandi Wright-Dohopolski, offering collaborative care that honors both the physical and energetic aspects of health.

Following the completion of her degrees, Dr. Callahan completed a year-long clinical residency at Richmond Natural Medicine in Richmond, Virginia, where she further deepened her experience in whole-person, root-cause care.

Dr. Callahan is especially passionate about supporting women navigating hormonal shifts, anxiety, depression, and chronic stress. She also works with patients experiencing autoimmune conditions, digestive concerns, cardiovascular concerns, and more. Her approach is gentle, intuitive, and grounded in the belief that the body knows how to heal when given the right support.

Her personal mission is to assist individuals in healing themselves and their communities by living in connection with the earth, fostering balance, and reducing the harmful influences on both human and environmental health. She strives to hold space with presence and compassion, welcoming each patient’s story with deep respect.

Dr. Callahan warmly invites you to schedule a consultation and discover how natural medicine can support your path to wellness.

Jennifer Hassan L.E., R.M., RYT

Early in life, Jennifer knew her life’s work would be centered around helping others. In college, a professor noticed her academic achievements and pulled her aside; he asked if she would like an introduction to the owner and lead physician of a large cardiology practice. The introduction was made and thus began Jennifer's career in heart centered care.

As a medical assistant and eventually a service provider, Jennifer spent almost 20 years working with both Cardiologists and Internal Medicine physicians. During these years, Jennifer became acutely aware that a patients' energy profoundly effected their ability to experience a life of peace and wellbeing, regardless of what their medical diagnosis was.

Jennifer accounts her pivotal change from Western Medicine to Holistic Healing with two patients, in exam rooms side by side. In one exam room was a patient with a terminal illness, who had only months to live. Yet was full of Life, Gratitude, Peace and Joy! The patient in the next room had been coming in for many months, seen by many doctors over the course of many years, and had no discernible ailments. Yet she could barely sit up in a chair and was sure she was dying. She was in dire straights for reasons Western Medicine could not find the cause of.

It was on that day almost 25 years ago, that the lightbulb moment occurred. Jennifer realized that Western Medicine is missing a key component when only caring for the physical body. We are energetic beings. When one only looks at or cares for the symptoms the body is experiencing, we are often missing the root cause. Energetic imbalances. In short, we are not just our physical bodies. Energetic imbalances in the Body, Mind and Spirit often become physical ailments limiting our quality of life.

Jennifer left Western medicine to open her own Wellness Center, which she successfully owned and operated for almost 20 years. Jennifer has studied at World renowned healing centers including Sedona Mago, 1440 Multiversity and Esalen in ancient and modern healing practices. Her philosophy is ancient wisdom backed by the scientific studies of efficacy.  She is a seasoned intuitive healer who specializes in Body Work, Theta and Sound Healing and Aromatherapy. Additionally she is a Reiki Master, Licensed Skin Care Therapist, Yoga Instructor and Guided Meditation Facilitator.

Her career in helping others started in Cardiology and has remained a heart centered practice, helping others heal Body, Mind and Soul to experience a greater sense of wellness, peace and joy and perhaps above all… love of self and life.
